Cazadero, CA
Since we were not too far from San Francisco, we took the opportunity to go to the Swiss Consulate located on Pier 17 and renew our Swiss passports and get one for our son. Our appointment was in the morning and it didn’t take us more than an hour. We then had plenty of time to walk around and enjoy this iconic city. We started by walking to the Ferry Building Marketplace in order to get breakfast. Usually this place is packed and full of life, but due to the circumstances, we almost had the building just for ourselves. We then took the car and drove up and down the streets and headed to the Torpedo Wharf to get a nice view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We then drove back to our cabin in Cazadero taking the beautiful scenic California State Route 1. The sunset was once again amazing. We love San Francisco but it is hurts to see it so empty and quiet. Hopefully, we will see it again in better times.
